The History of Wealth & Poverty

During the Fall 2020 semester, students at Fordham University took part in a graduate seminar which examined issues related to the history of wealth and poverty in the United States. For their culminating project, students decided they would explore the various ways the media and other visual mediums depicted wealth and poverty. Topics and style differed greatly, but the goal remained the same: To educate and inform, while providing analysis and interpretation appropriate for undergraduate audiences. Although intended for undergraduates, students of all levels of levels,  professors, and history enthusiasts are welcome to interact with this site!
